Our story
APA started with a shoebox full of paperwork on a kitchen table. Like millions of adult children helping aging parents, our founders watched relatives struggle to make sense of bills, benefit letters, and renewal notices arriving from a dozen different agencies — each with its own language and its own deadlines.
We built APA because the existing tools weren't built for this. Banking apps don't understand Medicare. Spreadsheets don't flag a deadline. And no senior should have to decode an Explanation of Benefits at 80 years old.
Today, APA helps seniors and their families turn that overwhelming paper trail into a few clear, calm decisions. We're proud of the work — and committed to keeping it private, accessible, and humane.
